30.5!

Today is my half-birthday.

I am 30.5 before my husband even turns 30. I know this may sound silly, but I have always celebrated my half-birthday(It is also my grandfather's birthday-he turned 91 today! and our 15 month wedding anniversary!). Trevor and I grilled halibut and portobello mushrooms with corn on the cob for the half-birthday celebration. It was a wonderful dinner.

Just curious, does anyone else celebrate their "half-birthday"?

Eckel Family Vacation

Trevor and I just got back from spending a week with my family at the Eckel Family Vacation in Sandbridge Beach, Virginia. We had a wonderful time with aunts/uncles/cousins that we hadn't seen since our wedding over a year ago. We spent every day on the beach and even got to enjoy a very exciting summer thunderstorm.
